Another very hot and sunny day (35c) with a short thunder storm while huddling under the 'Arc'. We took the subway to first visit the 'Palais des Congres' (a luxury hotel with luxury boutiques) then walked over to the 'Arc de Triomphe' along the road 'Avenue de la Grande Armee'. We then walked as far as our feet allowed us along the road 'Avenue des Champs-Elysees' at which time we took the subway to the apartment.
