No postings for the last few days as we were resting and doing some shopping. The weather has been cool and rainy lately.
Since it has been raining we decided to visit the Grottes de Betharram. Can't get wet, right!
Because of the rain many areas of the grotte were dripping. I guess that is how the columns formed in the first place.
The walking distance inside was about 2.5 km with many steps going down to about 80 meters. The water/river that carved the grottes are still flowing. We walked along the grottes river for quite some length.
It was dark and not allowed to use flash. Pictures are not so clear.
